Rotary Tuckaway
Perkins Manufacturing is one of the oldest manufacturers of residential rear and side loader universal cart tippers. Among the several tipper models Perkins manufactures is the famous Rotary Tuckaway. This is a Helical gear tipper (not rack and pinion) which, because there are no hydraulic cylinders, can be mounted on virtually any rear loading refuse body and tuck up under the bottom of the hopper completely out of the way when not in use. This precludes damage from uneven landfills, backing up over curbs, etc.
