KG
Rear Vision manufactures a full line of rear vision camera
systems used in the refuse collection industry to allow drivers
to be able to see both behind their vehicles as well as beside them.
Rear vision cameras are used on the rear of refuse trucks for safety
purposes to avoid backing into vehicles, walls, people, etc. Each
system utilizes a small in-cab monitor to give the driver a complete,
clear vision of exactly what is behind the truck.
KG Rear Vision
also offers rear mounted cameras with audio capability which lets
those working at the rear of the truck communicate verbally with
the driver. Further, KG offers monitors in both 5" and 7"
screen sizes as well as in black & white or green screens. Each
monitor has the capability of using a single or dual camera system
so that if a side camera is also installed, the driver can switch
back and forth between the two.
A typical side
configuration would be found on an automated side loader such as
the Labrie Cool Hand or Automizer allowing the operator to not only
monitor what is behind his truck but to also monitor the automated
arm picking up and dumping the garbage carts.
